InFlow Returns & Lease Program Guide
Overview
Intake Health offers two ways to handle device rotation and returns:
- Lease Program — Fresh units are sent to you on a regular schedule; you return used units using the provided Return Kit. No maintenance required on your end.
- Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) — For purchased units that need to be returned for credit, repair, or exchange.
Part 1: The InFlow Lease Program
What Is the Lease Program?
The InFlow Lease Program eliminates the maintenance burden. Instead of managing charging cycles and humidity maintenance yourself, Intake Health handles it:
- You receive fresh, fully tested InFlow units on a regular rotation — typically every 3 to 6 months.
- When your fresh units arrive, you swap them in and pack up the old units.
- You return the old units using the provided Return Kit and prepaid shipping label.
- Intake Health refurbishes, tests, and reconditions the returned units.
The result: You always have clean, working, fully charged InFlow units — with zero charging, zero desiccant maintenance, and zero troubleshooting on your end.
Why Customers Choose the Lease
- No more charging hassle. Battery monitoring and recharging is eliminated.
- No humidity maintenance. Desiccant resets are handled by Intake Health.
- Always-fresh units. Swap cycles mean you're always running newer, refurbished devices.
- Predictable annual cost. Flat annual fee instead of upfront purchase + ongoing parts.
- Simplified operations. One less thing for training staff or facilities managers to manage.
Part 2: Return Kit Instructions
What Is the Return Kit?
The Return Kit is the packaging used to store and ship InFlow units back during a lease swap. It includes a ZipLock bag, charcoal filters, the InFlow box, and a prepaid shipping label.
Keep your Return Kit — do not throw it away. You'll need it every time you do a swap.
Storing Discharged Units Before Return
If fresh units arrive and you're not ready to ship back immediately:
- Rinse and dry the InFlow Cartridge. A quick rinse is sufficient.
- Place the dry InFlow into the Return Kit bag with the bag left unzipped.
- Place the bag back into the InFlow box.
- Place the black charcoal filter on top of the bag and close the box.
The charcoal filter manages odors while units are stored.
How to Return InFlow Units
When you're ready to ship:
- Rinse and dry the InFlow Cartridge and InFlow Cup. Thorough cleaning is not required.
- Place up to 4 InFlows and 2 extra cartridges per Return Kit bag.
- Leave the bag unzipped until you are ready to seal and ship.
- When ready: zip the bag closed, place it in the InFlow box, put the black charcoal filter on top, close the box, place the box in the shipping box, tape it shut, and affix the provided prepaid return label.
- Drop off at the designated carrier location.
Part 3: Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)
When Is an RMA Needed?
An RMA is required when returning purchased InFlow units for:
- Warranty claims
- Product exchange or repair
- Distributor or reseller returns for credit toward future purchases
How to Request an RMA
Contact Intake Health at support@intake.health to request an RMA. Provide:
- Your name and organization
- Contact email
- Item number(s) being returned
- Quantity
- Reason for return
Intake Health will issue a numbered RMA authorization and expiration date. Returns must be shipped within the expiration window.
RMA Conditions
- Returns must be unused, factory-sealed products to be eligible for purchase credit.
- Credit amount is determined based on inspection of the returned product.
- Intake Health will provide prepaid shipping labels for authorized returns.
- Returns without an RMA number will not be accepted.
Part 4: Product Disposal
InFlow contains a lithium battery. Do not place InFlow in the trash. Lithium batteries can rupture or ignite if damaged.
For device disposal and recycling, contact support@intake.health. Intake Health will provide instructions for safe disposal or recycling of units no longer in service.
